These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the WiserTask website, mobile applications, and related services (the “Service”) operated by WiserTask (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
WiserTask is a productivity and reminder platform. Users create tasks and reminders and may receive alerts by push notification, email, WhatsApp, and/or SMS depending on their settings and plan.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information, including a valid mobile number if you use phone-based signup or SMS.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for activity on your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
3. SMS Program Terms
Program name: WiserTask SMS Alerts
Program description: Transactional messages only — one-time verification/login or password-reset codes, and task/reminder/account notifications that you requested.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your reminders and account activity. You may receive multiple messages in a day when reminders are due, and fewer when they are not.
Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-in: You opt in by checking an unmarked consent box during registration in the WiserTask app or on wisertask.com/register.php before any SMS is sent, and by providing your mobile number. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any WiserTask SMS to unsubscribe. You may also disable SMS in app notification settings. After STOP you will receive one confirmation message and no further SMS until you opt in again.

Restart: Reply START to re-subscribe after opting out.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to send spam, unlawful content, or to abuse messaging channels. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscriptions and Purchases
Some features require a paid plan. Fees, if any, are disclosed before purchase. SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing a subscription.
6. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is.” Reminder delivery depends on networks, devices, and third-party providers (including SMS carriers and Twilio). To the maximum extent permitted by law, WiserTask is not liable for indirect or consequential damages or failed/delayed notifications.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material SMS-program changes will be reflected on this page and in the SMS Program page.
