This Privacy Policy explains how Dyak Inc. ("Dyak," "WiserTask," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use WiserTask, including our websites, web application, mobile applications, task-management services, reminders, notifications, subscriptions, SMS, WhatsApp, email communications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Depending on the features you use, we may collect:
- Account information: name, email address, mobile phone number, password credentials in protected/hashed form, time zone, account settings, and preferences.
- User content: tasks, reminders, schedules, notes, goals, and other information you choose to enter.
- Communications: messages and information you provide when contacting support or communicating with us.
- Subscription information: subscription product, entitlement, renewal, cancellation, expiration, and transaction status received from Apple, Google, or other authorized payment providers. We do not receive full payment-card numbers from Apple or Google.
- Device and technical information: device type, operating system, app/browser version, IP address, device or app identifiers, logs, diagnostics, crash information, and security events, to the extent collected by WiserTask or its configured service providers.
- Notification information: push-notification tokens and communication preferences.
- Consent records: records of SMS, marketing, privacy, or other consents where needed, including the consent language/version, date and time, source, and opt-out status.
2. HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION
We collect information directly from you when you register, enter tasks or reminders, configure communications, contact us, or otherwise use the Services. We may also collect technical information automatically from the app, website, device, and configured service providers. We may receive subscription and transaction-status information from app stores and payment platforms.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use personal information as reasonably necessary to:
- Create, authenticate, secure, and maintain accounts.
- Provide tasks, schedules, reminders, synchronization, and other requested features.
- Send verification codes and account/service communications.
- Send email, SMS, WhatsApp, and push reminders according to your selections and permissions.
- Process and administer subscriptions and entitlements.
- Provide customer support.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents.
- Diagnose errors and maintain reliability.
- Improve and develop WiserTask.
- Comply with law and enforce our agreements.
- Send promotional communications only where permitted and after obtaining any consent required by law or platform policy.
4. SMS AND MOBILE INFORMATION
SMS enrollment is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Where WiserTask offers SMS reminders or other recurring SMS communications, the applicable SMS consent must be affirmative and not pre-selected.
Depending on the consent you provide, messages may include verification codes, task reminders, account notifications, and other authorized informational messages. Promotional or marketing SMS messages require separate consent when required by law or messaging policy; consent to transactional or reminder messages does not automatically authorize promotional SMS.
Message frequency varies based on your activity, reminders, and settings. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from applicable recurring SMS messages. Reply HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and messaging delivery, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with third parties.

5. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
With device permission, WiserTask may send push notifications for task reminders, account activity, and service information. Promotional or direct-marketing push notifications will be sent only after the user has explicitly opted in to receive such notifications, and WiserTask will provide an in-app method to opt out of promotional push notifications. Device-level push permissions can also be changed in device settings. Push permission is not required to access unrelated app functionality.
6. EMAIL AND WHATSAPP
Depending on the communication methods you select, WiserTask may send verification messages, reminders, account notices, and service communications by email or WhatsApp. Marketing communications are subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
7. SERVICE PROVIDERS AND DISCLOSURES
We may disclose personal information to service providers acting on our behalf where reasonably necessary to operate the Services, such as cloud hosting, database, email delivery, SMS/communications delivery, WhatsApp delivery, push notification, authentication, diagnostics, analytics, customer support, security, fraud prevention, and subscription/payment processing providers.
Service providers may process information only for authorized purposes and are expected to provide protections consistent with applicable contractual and legal requirements.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; protect users, WiserTask, or others; investigate fraud or abuse; enforce agreements; or complete a corporate transaction subject to applicable law.
We do not sell SMS opt-in information or consent, and we do not disclose mobile information to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
8. AI FEATURES AND THIRD-PARTY AI
If WiserTask introduces a feature that sends personal information or user content to a third-party artificial-intelligence provider, WiserTask will disclose the relevant provider or category of provider, explain the purpose, and obtain explicit permission where required before transmitting personal information to that third party. Information collected for one purpose will not be repurposed for a materially different purpose without additional consent when required.
9. APP STORE AND PAYMENT PROCESSING
Purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by the applicable platform under its own terms and privacy practices. WiserTask may receive information needed to validate and administer subscription status and entitlements but does not receive complete payment-card details from those platforms.
10. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain accounts, fulfill the purposes described here, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary according to the type of information, purpose, and applicable legal requirements.
When an account is deleted, we delete or de-identify associated personal information unless limited retention is reasonably necessary or legally required for purposes such as security, fraud prevention, transaction records, tax/accounting obligations, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement.
11. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls and appropriate protections for credentials and data in transit. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. YOUR CHOICES AND PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information concerning our processing of personal information; withdraw certain consent; and opt out of certain communications.
Requests may be submitted to Legal@wisertask.com. We may take reasonable steps to verify identity before fulfilling a request.
13. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY NOTICE
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, or other California privacy laws when those laws apply to Dyak Inc. and the processing at issue. Applicable rights may include rights to know/access, correct, delete, and receive information about certain disclosures or uses of personal information, as well as rights concerning sale or sharing as those terms are legally defined.
WiserTask does not sell mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information, and does not share them with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
California privacy requests may be submitted to Legal@wisertask.com. We will not unlawfully discriminate against a user for exercising applicable privacy rights.
14. CHILDREN
WiserTask is not directed to children under 13, and users must be at least 13 years old to create or use a WiserTask account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
15. INTERNATIONAL USERS
WiserTask and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers.
16. ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION
Users may initiate deletion through the in-app account deletion function and through our external deletion resource at /delete-account. Deletion includes associated user data subject to limited retention that is reasonably necessary or legally required as described above.
17. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
The Services may link to or interoperate with third-party services. Third parties' independent processing is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
18. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes are material, we may provide notice through the Services, website, email, or another appropriate method. The Last Updated date shows the most recent revision.
